How to use Audiorake in Studio One

Please use the VST3 wrapper in Studio One. The Audio Unit is known to cause crashes.

Using Audiorake in Studio One

First use

  1. Place the VST3-version of Audiorake on a track.
  2. Sign in.
  3. Re-launch Studio One.

General use

  1. Place the VST3 plugin on the track(s) you want cleaned. Select it from the Right Click > Event FX menu or by dragging it from the effects menu.
  2. You can now configure Audiorake (e.g., select whether to keep breaths).
  3. The ARA plugin window is interactive and follows selections made in the main Studio One timeline. To change Audiorake settings for a specific track, select it in the timeline and make your changes in the Audiorake window.
  4. (Strongly Recommended) Bounce the track once you are happy with your settings, since Audiorake consumes a lot of resources. This way, you can also use other ARA plugins like Vocalign and Melodyne after Audiorake.
